But I’m a rare breed – I only care about Marketing that makes money.
No ROI. No interest from me. Somewhere along the line, big brands convinced business owners otherwise. I’m here to change that.
At age 13, I bought my first car: a 1978 Holden HZ GTS for $4,000. At 17, I sold the car to a friend for $8,000. The truth is however, he still owns it. Today it is worth $30,000 and is still in the same condition.
My dad was a motor mechanic who loves cars. My brother Geoff and I spent our childhood “wheeling and dealing”. We bought, restored and sold cars for a profit during the Muscle Car boom.
Dad taught me about negotiation, sales and business from a young age.
My mum ran a dance school and worked like there was no tomorrow. Mum taught me about hard work, sacrifice and commitment.
At age 22 – my brother and I bought our first business. It was a horrendous failure – and I’m proud to admit it. To save it from going bankrupt, we started our second business – Ivy Dance Floors – which was successful and still runs today.
I have been utterly obsessed and infatuated with psychology, marketing and copywriting ever since I first discovered it more than 5 years ago.
I collect advertisements. I take photos of billboards when I’m on the train. I love the National Enquirer. I subscribe to News Weekly.
I started The Ivy Marketing Agency in 2015. It has generated amazing results for my clients – which you can read about on my blog.
I’m grateful. It’s taken me around the world. I’ve visited 10 countries, spoken at events on 4 different continents and met some of the most incredible people on this planet.
I’ve had my work featured on the Clickfunnels Blog and even worked with Tai Lopez and many more.
Today, I live in Melbourne, Australia. Working on my Lead Generation Business – “5 Rings Agency”.
Still in love with Marketing & still a student of the game.
